El Paso based vinyl record store, Mother of Pearl Vinyl, headed to Stay Gold, East Austin’s jazz, soul, funk and psych lounge, for the second year in a row to showcase El Paso talent at the annual SXSW Music, Film, and Interactive Festival. Featured bands rocking the house were Miss Gulch, Sluur, Lago De Fuego, Villians Kiss, Divine Kegel, Miijas, Dxtry Bxrd, and Krystall Poppin. El Paso food truck Jonbalaya also made the trek out, serving up Chico’s Tacos to Austin residents and El Paso transplants who made it out to the show. Below is a photo recap by @Jam_Bi of the event.
