Keep Vinton Beautiful, in collaboration with the Village of Vinton, and other great community partners, is proudly hosting the 2nd Annual Village Vibes Music Festival on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to midnight. The festival will take place at Dr. Applegate Park located at 7966 Quejette Road, Vinton, TX 79821.
The Village Vibes Music Festival (VVMF) hopes to attract guests of all ages for a day filled with live music, food trucks, vendors and a family entertainment area. The music festival is an event that will bring together Vinton Residents and the surrounding Paso Del Norte communities for an experience that fuses music, culture and community outreach.
The music festival will be headlined by recent Latin Grammy nominee The Chamanas, and will feature 18 local bands including Ribo Flavin, Guinness World Record holder for “Youngest Professional Music Producer” Brandon Bailey Johnson, and Hypnosis.
VVMF aims to support local live music, promote healthy lifestyle choices and provide awareness for locally grown produce and farmer’s markets. VVMF is a fundraising event to build and provide future support of Vinton’s Community Garden and Learning Center which will sit on 4 acres of land located in the heart of Vinton. The Village of Vinton’s Community Garden and Learning Center will address the lack of access to fresh, locally sourced produce and provide economic development for local farmers as well as educational resources for local residents and elementary students.
Mayor Manuel Leos would like to invite the surrounding communities to a day full of good vibes, “Here’s to Village Vibes, there’s nothing like a music festival to share with friends and family, especially when it is for a great cause for the community, so forget everything just for one night, join us and let’s have a good time.”
Village Vibes Music Festival presale tickets are available now and can be purchased online at www.villagevibesmusicfestival.com or in person at Vinton City Hall. Presale tickets are $10 for adults through August 31st. Tickets are $5 for children 12-5 years of age, and children 4 and under are free. Adult tickets will be $15 after the presale period and at the gate.
