Tocayo is a Cuban born artist who along with his parents fled to Miami as refugees at a very turbulent time in society. His style is influenced by pop culture and vintage comics, primarily focusing on illustrations of people. Most of his work will have Cuban and Mexican undertones, although not Mexican, he respects the culture and its people, they remind him very much of his own people. However, he’s not down with spicy food. Currently, he works as a graphic designer for Fox Racing creating their men’s t-shirt line and lives in Southern California with his lovely wife and dog.
