JMBLYA celebrated its 5th year with 2 sold out shows and 50,000 total attendees. Dallas hosted the festival on Friday, May 5th at the Coliseum Parking Lot at Fair Park, and then it was Austin’s turn to party on Saturday, May 6th at a brand new event location, Circuit of The Americas (COTA).
As usual, JMBLYA offered a diverse lineup offering fans a stacked lineup of hip-hop and EDM. Chance the Rapper headlined the 2017 festival and did not disappoint. He won three Grammy Awards this year, including Best Rap Album and Best New Artist, following the success of his highly applauded mixtape, Coloring Book. The lineup also included Gucci Mane who welcomed hip-hop legend Bun B to join him on stage in Austin. The Migos set the tone early playing hit after hit from their recent platinum-selling album, Culture. Steve Aoki made sure to bring his cakes and played a great set as well. As always, Lil Uzi Vert treated fans to an incredible set as he showcased several of his hits with high energy. 6lack, Young Dolph, Snow Tha Product, and Pell rounded out the rest of the lineup.
Scoremore Shows continue to set the standard in Texas and we can’t wait to see what they do next!
