We’ve hit that time of year where summer is creeping up on us and our friends at Splendid Sun Productions are at it once again bringing us the 4th edition of Neon Desert Music Festival. This time around they transform downtown El Paso into a two day mecca of art, music and culture Memorial Day weekend.
In this issue of Fusion Magazine we champion the fest once again by featuring a Neon Desert Music Fest 2014 edition complimented by an illustrated cover created by the super talented artist Adriana De La Torre aka Akimaro. We feature articles on festival headliners Calle 13, Wiz Khalifa, MGMT, Hello Seahorse! and Method Man & Redman to name a few.
We also spoke with two amazingly talented artists MR. DVICE and Ernesto Yerena. Yerena has worked with OBEY Giant’s very own Shepard Fairey! Both Yerena and MR. DVICE will be showcasing their skill creating live art at the fest providing us with plenty of provocative eye candy. We also give you 8 reasons for you to check out Neon Desert Music Fest as well as our top 10 must-see acts!
We close out the magazine with two non-festival related articles, one on The Lowbrow Palace—a music venue in west El Paso responsible for hosting national touring bands and DJs week in and week out as well as an interview with media artist and entrepreneur Scott Snibbe who is pioneering a new life form called Digital Interactivity.

Llegamos a esa época del año donde el verano se acerca a nosotros y a nuestros amigos de Splendid Sun Productions, que nos traen de nuevo la cuarta edición del Neon Desert Music Festival. Esta vez transformaran el centro de El Paso, Tx. en la meca del arte en dos días de música y cultura. En esta edición de Fusion Magazine nos encargamos de hacer los honores necesarios haciendo una edición especial del Neon Desert Music Fest 2014, complementado con una portada ilustrada por la talentosa artista chihuahuense Adriana De La Torre aka Akimaro. También les tenemos artículos sobre los principales artistas que estarán en el festival como: Calle 13, Wiz Khalifa, MGMT, Hello Seahorse!, Method Man & Redman y varios más.
En esta edición pudimos platicar con dos talentosos artistas MR. DVICE y Ernesto Yerena quien ha trabajado con el mismísimo Shepard Fairey de OBEY Giant, los dos estarán mostrando su talento y creatividad creando obras en vivo en el mismo festival, recreando la pupila de los asistentes.
