Fusion Magazine reaches 69 editions! The number with an erotic connotation and also with content full of music, bands, food, art, illustration, sci-fi and other topics of interest.
† † † (Crosses) the new musical project of Chino Moreno (Deftones), Chuck Doom, and Shaun Lopez (Far) headlines our cover and feature story. In this edition we put together a variety of topics and in terms of music we spoke with punk rockers La Otra Rebeldia about their band. We also embrace change and what it entails with Tom Gabel Laura Jane Grace, vocalist of the band Against Me! Also featured is rock band Aldama from Ciudad Juarez who proposes a synesthetic effect on their audience and in addition we spoke with Chihuahua band II (Dos). Lastly, we discovered recording studio Comanche Sound, the best kept secret on the border!
On the topic of art our featured pieces include The Realism of El Paso ‘s Art Scene as well as our traditional Fusion Gallery which focuses on artist Miguel Valverde and his masterpiece inside Arena Mexico, an arena solely dedicated to Lucha Libre in Mexico D.F. Photography is not far behind as we feature work by Raúl Ramírez “Kigra” and his series Muertes en la Esperanza, which addresses the delicate subject of bullfighting.
The annual science fiction convention Sun City SciFi 2014 is upon us and we spoke with organizer Ean Puhlman about this year’s con as well as guest artist Jorge Baeza and actor Phil Lamarr whose starred in Pulp Fiction, Family Guy, and Futurama.
We also cover topic of food in this issue as we speak with Mr. Delicious himself Norbert Portillo, chef and owner of TABLA Tapas Bar located at Union Plaza in downtown El Paso.
Of course, also featured and never forgotten is the Lost and Found, which showcases The Smiths full length self titled album that was released 30 years ago this past February.

En el mundo del Sci-Fi tenemos el festival Sun City 2014, que se llevará a cabo en El Paso, Texas. En este número también abarcamos gastronomía con el artículo Finger Licking Good.
