Fusion issue 65 features industrial rock pioneers Nine Inch Nails who bring their “Tension 2013” tour to El Paso’s Don Haskins Event Center on Nov. 11. Also featured are two solid interviews, one with singer/songwriter David Speck who opens up about his San Francisco based band Part Time as well as British alternative rockers A Silent Film who talk about their music and early days of the band. This month we turn the spotlight on the amazing architectural work of Henry Trost and his brothers who are responsible for designing over 300 buildings in El Paso to include the O.T. Bassett Tower, Abdou Building, and Hotel Cortez to name a few. Other features include The Lost and Found which highlights The Cure’s phenomenal album “Wish” and our Fusion Gallery presents the artwork of El Paso artist Ismael De Anda III. Por años, Trent Reznor ha mantenido a Nine Inch Nails como una de las propuestas del rock industrial más aclamadas en el planeta y para celebrar su retorno a El Paso, decidimos que fuera él quién estuviera en la portada de nuestra edición #65.
En estas hojas también tuvimos la oportunidad de entrevistar los britanicos A Silent Film y David Speck (Part Time) quienes también visitan El Paso el próximo mes…continuando con los temas de música te presentamos a la banda originaria de Chihuahua, Movimiento Calavera además de un especial de los responsables de mover la industria musical en México de forma independiente.
No podíamos dejar atrás a The Cure ya que hace unas semanas estuvieron en El Paso y para esto, nuestra ya tradicional sección de Lost And Found hace un repaso a la “Wish” LP que la agrupación lanzó en el 92.
