FUSION MAGAZINE #110 – MARFA MYTHS 2019

Fusion Mag’s issue #110 is here! In this issue we feature the Marfa Myths Music, Visual Arts and Film Festival which will be going on April 25th-28th in Marfa,TX. This is event comes together with the collaborative efforts of Ballroom Marfa (non-profit contemporary arts foundation) and Brooklyn based indie label Mexican Summer who bring you an array of artistic talent to enjoy under the beautiful Texas sky.

Master Moog manipulator and free jazz pioneer Annette Peacock talks with Fusion about her musical upbringings, collaborative efforts and playing drums on James Brown records. She’ll also be performing at this year’s Marfa Myths.

Canadian artist Natalie Anne Howard’s art is featured in this issue of Fusion giving a sample of her colorful vision. Marfa Studio of Arts will hold an exhibition of her work all weekend during Marfa Myths.

We interview Fuco Leòn and dive into the illustrator’s art in the book Panza Llena, Corazon de Letras which was a collaboration with the writer Ramòn Gerònimo Olvera. The artist goes into the birth of the project as well as the importance of food to him.

Last Thursdays! El Paso art walk is back with more artists, vendors and places exhibiting art. A great addition this year is the El Paso Streetcar which helps with the walking, promises to also be available later hours.
