Big Bend Brewing Co. Tap Takeover at Monarch | Photo Gallery

BBBC-7Big Bend Brewing Co. from Alpine, TX invaded Monarch Cafe/Bar in El Paso, TX on May 31, 2014 taking complete control of their taps! Their amazing selection of delicious craft beer included Tejas Lager, Terlingua Golden Ale— which we highly recommend for the upcoming summer weather, Big Bend Hefeweizen, La Frontera IPA— this delicious hoppy and bitter ale has 7.8% alcohol content we recommend you drink with caution, and lastly our personal favorite the No. 22 Porter— which will compliment a delicious steak when grilling this summer. The event included live music performances by local El Paso bands Berkshire Hobbits (members of PART TIME), The Polaroids, Biscuit Roller, Hope Wright, Aros De Saturno and DJ sets by Souldies and Syncopation.

About Big Bend Brewing Co.

Big Bend Brewing Company is a craft brewery started in November of 2012 in Alpine, TX, and headed by famed Master Brewer Steve Anderson (considered by many to be one of the fathers of Texas craft beer). In its first year of business, Big Bend Brewing Company, the only craft brewery in West Texas, served up over 800 barrels of beer over 100 accounts. There is currently a waiting list of over 100 establishments in West Texas alone eagerly awaiting the completion of an expansion that will multiply the brewery’s capacity by eight to ten times. By the end of 2014, Big Bend Brewing Company will start distribution to the rest of Texas, with slow rollouts in targeted markets such as Austin.

Big Bend Brewing Company sells Tejas Lager, Terlingua Gold Golden Ale, No. 22 Porter, La Frontera IPA and Big Bend Hefeweizen in cans and kegs in the immediate area surrounding Alpine. Kegs are distributed as far out as El Paso and Midland/Odessa.
