This past June 29th, Wreck & Reference, who is actually on tour with Deafheaven and Pallbearer, stopped to play a special show in El Paso at Rock House Café & Gallery in the downtown Arts District. The experimental post metal duo from Los Angeles played a very great set including songs from their most recent album Want. Locals for the night were: Glob who opened the night with a very short and aggressive set, following by an amazing set by Takanakuy, and right before Wreck & Reference, Resin Cum played a one-man-single song performance by Ham, who was also the promoter of this great event. These kind of events make El Paso a great place for underground music, and another spot for tours of many interesting bands from different places.
