Chaz Bundick, better know as Toro Y Moi Release announced a new album on April 7, and now we can listen “Empty Nesters”, the first single of this new record via Carpark Records.
“What For?” was recorded in Chaz Bundick’s home in Berkeley, and features contributions from Julian Lynch and Ruban Nielson (Unknown Mortal Orchestra). Toro y Moi press agency said ““I’ve done electronic R&B and more traditional recorded type R&B stuff. I just wanted to see what else was out there. It’s all coming from the same mindset and point of creativity. It’s just me trying to take what I already have, and then take it further.”
