PRINT IS NOT DEAD! | ISSUE #60 | AT THE PRINT SHOP | SNEAK PEEK

Fusion is a bilingual publication that focuses on art, music, and culture. To commemorate our 60th issue, we wanted to do something a little different from what we’ve done in past issues. This edition our focus is on art and the emergence of a renaissance movement happening in our border. We feature a gallery by artists from Chihuahua, Cd. Juarez, and El Paso.

The talented Akimaro, from Chihuahua, MX, is our featured artist and she designed and illustrated our 60th cover. You may recognize various artists like Luis Safa or EXIST1981 whom we’ve featured in previous issues. Making their debut with us are muralist Werc Alvarez and multimedia artist Schiani Ledo to name a few. We also feature a tribute to Asarco with an illustration by El Pasoan Tim Razo. Amongst all the art, we feature a music article on The Killers, who coincidently were on the very first cover of Fusion. Other articles include “Turning Film: El Film Antes Del Colapso”, which discusses the topic of transexuality. Lastly, The Lost and Found features the 1967 psychedelic LP “Supernatural Fairy Tales” by music group Art.
