Street Fest Recap

Photos + text: Josh Luna

The heat didn’t keep the crowd at home this past weekend as people filled the streets of Downtown El Paso for KLAQ’s 2017 Street Fest. Headliners included Papa Roach, Alice Cooper, Jackyl, Dokken, Starset and In This Moment. The 69-year-old Alice Cooper literally electrified the stage as rain poured and lighting flashed throughout the night to close out the festival.

Besides good music, Street Fest offered entertainment for the whole family including live art, food trucks, games, photo opportunities, and a car show.

It was great to see fans of all ages rocking, head-banging, and even starting mosh pits together.

Until next year, Street Fest.
