On November 3, Down the Socio Path Tour featured one of the greatest and most recognized EBM bands Skinny Puppy with special guest from Los Angeles, Youth Code. A duo that has the potential to get to the place they want. Sara and Ryan offered a very energetic performance. I can just imagine how wonderful it would be to see them at huge EBM festivals. They played a very selective set from all their albums.
When Skinny Puppy came out on the stage it felt like a play was going on, their performance was so theatrical, it caught the crowd’s attention from beginning to end. Flashing lights, projections, the bands intense energy and an alien like transformation from Ogre (lead vocalist) due to injections a horned monster was applying through the show. All together creating one of the most original and unique performances I’ve seen live.
