El Paso’s Streetcars are coming back to life!

El Paso’s PCC 39 Vintage Street Cars are on the move to Brookville, PA, to get refurbished! These bad boys will hit the streets in 3 years, 2018!

Txt: City of El Paso, Texas – Municipal Government. Today, three of El Paso’s historic Presidents’ Conference Committee (PCC) streetcars began rolling again as they started their journey on the back of flatbed trucks bound for Western Pennsylvania where they will be restored before being returned to service on the streets of Downtown El Paso. The $97 million project is funded by Texas Department of Transportation; construction will be managed by the Camino Real Regional Mobility Authority (CRRMA). The line will be operated by Sun Metro.
