On Saturday November 3rd the El Paso Museum of Art put together a memorable Dia De Los Muertos event in downtown El Paso. Over 10,000 people attended the festivities which included mask-making and live printing workshops, folklorico dancing, music, a procession which included various people in costume as well as two giant marionettes (one of Mexican actor, singer and comedian, Tin Tan, and the second of Jose Guadalupe Posada’s La Calavera Catrina), and concluded with a performance by indie mambo band Okesta Mendoza.
