Black Metal Warfare @ Los Angeles

Norwegian black metal legends Mayhem spent the first month of the year touring the US along with Watain from Sweden, and Revenge from Canada—their last date took place at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles California. The show was a sold out, and fans from different places around the States showed up for this event.

Revenge took to the stage first and played a head-banging set. Watain took the stage next and performed a ritual filled with goat heads, skeletons, real blood, dead snakes, fire, incenses and a show full of chaos. The Black Metal Warfare Tour was headlined by Mayhem—this time, the band performed with Atilla as a vocalist. They played many of their all-time classics such as “Freezing Moon,” “Deathcrush,” “Pure Fucking Armageddon” and of course some new songs from their latest album Esoteric Warfare.
