The Paul Collins Beat, ex-The Nerves/The Beat, stopped at The Lowbrow Palace this past June 15th to play for the very first time in El Paso. The line up of the night was very interesting; Mirror Men, a local garage band that brings back the mid 80’s Brit-pop sound, the chiefs from Nalgadas, a very cool punk band from El Paso, and of course, The Paul Collins Beat.
The show was very intimate, but it was more than enough for Paul to be grateful and say how much he loved his first visit to El Paso. These kind of shows reflect how thankful El Paso people can be when more independent bands come and play here. It is always good to make the artist feel loved.
