On the weekend of April 26-28 Sun City Scifi presented its first annual Sci-Fi Convention at the El Paso Airport Marriott Hotel. Celebrity guests included Peter Mayhew best known for his role as “Chewbacca” in the original Star Wars series. Joining Mayhew are Tom Kane (Yoda), Marina Sirtis (Counselor Troi), Tony Amendola (Master Bra’tac), David Yost (Blue Power Ranger), Aaron Douglas (Chief Galen Tyrol), Herb Jefferson (Lt. Boomer), Dana Snyder (Master Shake), and Joseph Gatt (Star Trek Into Darkness).
