We’re still waiting for the return of the Davila 666 band, but meanwhile (and so we won’t lose the faith on their return), they’ll launch a compilation of singles on a double album called: Pocos Años, Muchos Daños, putting together all the –now– classic singles of this great Puerto Rican garage band which split up back in 2012.

AJ Davila, vocal and founder of Davila 666, will be launching his album Baibi this November 4th, same date for the launch of Pocos Años, Muchos Daños. After that, he’ll be hitting the road on tour all around the US, getting with him the best of his musical work and all big Davila 666 classics along with his new project AJ Davila Y Terror Amor.

Press: On November 4th, Burger Records will release AJ Davila Y Terror Amor’s new album, Beibi, and a double album singles compilation from Davila 666 called Pocos Años, Muchos Daños. AJ Davila is best known as the founder of the acclaimed Puerto Rican garage rock band Davila 666, with whom he recorded two albums and toured the world. The band has been praised by Pitchfork for their “sheer anarchic energy, not to mention a formidable gift for language-transcending hooks.” In 2011, the band decided to take a break, but AJ kept moving, and began working on his own project. His debut solo album, Terror Amor, out earlier this year, received acclaim from Spin, VICE, NPR, CMJ, MTV Iggy, Brooklyn Vegan, KEXP and more! Earlier today, Stereogum premiered Beibi standout track, “Borderline,” which you can listen to below. Burger Records is also currently offering a stream of Davila 666’s “Sabes Que Quiero” below. AJ Davila Y Terror Amor kick off a massive North American tour this week with a performance at Supersonico Festival in Los Angeles.
